The Rogue Valley Veterans Powwow is a long-standing cultural gathering dedicated to honoring Native American veterans, their families, and the broader community. Hosted at the VA Rehabilitation Center and Clinics in White City, Oregon, this annual event brings together drum groups, dancers, elders, and community members to celebrate service, culture, and tradition. Open to the public and free to attend, the Veterans Powwow stands as a powerful expression of respect, healing, and unity.

Beginning in 1998, the Southern Oregon Indian Center established an ad hoc committee known as the Rogue Valley Veterans Powwow. Founded in partnership with the VA SORCC in White City, the event was created to honor Native American veterans and provide a culturally grounded space for recognition and community connection.
In 2026, the Rogue Valley Veterans Powwow will mark its 26th Annual Powwow, making it the only event of its kind held on a federal installation in the United States. In addition to the annual gathering, the organization has facilitated a Veterans Sweat Lodge twice a month for over 20 years, supporting cultural continuity, healing, and wellness.
