Join us at the Rogue Valley Veterans Powwow, a cherished event honoring Native American veterans, families, and our community. Held annually at White City, Oregon, this gathering features drumming, dancing, and cultural festivities that celebrate service and tradition. Free and open to everyone, it's a day of respect, healing, and unity.

Beginning in 1998, the Southern Oregon Indian Center established an ad hoc committee known as the Rogue Valley Veterans Powwow. Founded in partnership with the VA SORCC in White City, the event was created to honor Native American veterans and provide a culturally grounded space for recognition and community connection.
In 2026, the Rogue Valley Veterans Powwow will mark its 26th Annual Powwow, making it the only event of its kind held on a federal installation in the United States. In addition to the annual gathering, the organization has facilitated a Veterans Sweat Lodge twice a month for over 20 years, supporting cultural continuity, healing, and wellness.
